A. ADMISSION POLICIES
DAY SCHOOL
1. GRADE 7
Applicants seeking admission to Grade 7
a. must be a recent elementary school graduate
b. must be below 14 years old upon enrolment
c. has a Grade Placement (G) of 6.0 or higher in the Grade 7 Admission Test
d. a transferee within the year with a quarter average of at least 80% (if a slot is available)
· If any of the criteria is not met, a consideration may be provided after thorough evaluation of the Admissions Committee and is subject for approval of the Principal.
2. GRADE 8, GRADE 9, GRADE 10
Applicants qualified for admission to Grade 8, Grade 9, and Grade 10
a. promoted/continuing students of St. Joseph School – La Salle (repeaters cannot be accepted);
b. transferees with a general average of not less than 80%, no disciplinary case from the previous school and must pass the entrance test;
c. students previously enrolled in St. Joseph School – La Salle with a satisfactory performance and who for some unavoidable circumstances had transferred to another school (returnee);
d. Night School students with satisfactory performance seeking admission to the Day School program provided he/she did not come from the Day School in the previous years.
· Transferees may be accepted if slots are available
Application Procedure for Day School
ADMISSIONS TESTING PROCEDURE (GRADE 7)
1. Present Testing Requirements to the Admissions and Scholarship Program Office (ASPO) for evaluation.
2. Fill out the Testing and Processing Fee Payment Slip.
3. Present the accomplished Testing and Processing Fee Payment Slip to the cashier and pay the non-refundable testing and processing fee.
4. Present the official receipt to the ASPO and secure an application form.
5. Fill out the application form and attach the requirements.
6. Submit application form and requirements to the ASPO before the scheduled testing date. Only applications with correct and complete information and requirements will be processed.
7. Secure a test permit upon submission of application form and requirements from the ASPO.
8. Take the test on your scheduled date. Test permit must be presented to the assigned examiner.
9. Get individual score sheet (test result form) from the ASPO on the scheduled release of results.
10. For qualified applicants, pay the reservation fee at the cashier (FRD) to reserve an enrolment slot.
11. Present the individual score sheet and official receipt to the ASPO to secure the Admission Card.
REQUIREMENTS:
a. Grade 7
· Two (2) pieces 1”x1” recent and identical ID pictures
· One (1) piece 2”x2” recent and identical ID pictures
· Photocopy (4 copies) of Birth Certificate (NSO-SECPA)
· Original and Photocopy (4 copies) of Report Card (Form 138)
· Original and Photocopy (4 copies) of Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous school
· Photocopy of parents’ recent Income Tax Return (ITR) or Tax Exemption
· Testing Fee
a. Promoted Students/continuing students

Application Procedure for Transferees /Returnees (Day School)
1. Present the Report Card to the Registrar for evaluation. If qualified, applicants are recommended for testing and must proceed to the Admissions and Scholarship Program Office (ASPO).
2. Fill out the Testing and Processing Fee Payment Slip.
3. Present the accomplished Testing and Processing Fee Payment Slip to the cashier and pay the non-refundable testing and processing fee.

Application Procedure for Night School students seeking Admission to the Day School Program
1. Applicants should request a letter of recommendation from the Night School Coordinator.
2. Applicants write a letter of intent addressed to the Principal and follow up the same with the Principal’s Office.
3. If qualified, applicants are advised to see the Registrar for the schedule of interview with the concerned Day School Grade Level Prefect.
4. After the interview, applicants will proceed to the Registrar’s Office for enrolment.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Form 138 (report card)
2. Letter of Recommendation from the Night School Coordinator
3. Personal interview by the Principal
4 Guidance Testing (as recommended)
5. Personal Interview by the Grade Level Prefect
NIGHT SCHOOL
Applicants qualified for the Night School Program
· Incoming Grade 7 students/Transferees/Returnees who do not have any discipline case from the school of origin
· St. Joseph School – La Salle Night School students promoted to the next grade level

Application Procedure for Grade 7 and Transferees (Night School)
1. Present the Report Card to the Registrar for evaluation.
2. If qualified, applicants are given an application form and note for Night School Coordinator’s interview.
3. Fill out the application form and attach the required documents
4. Submit to the Night School Coordinator the accomplished application form with the attached requirements during the scheduled interview.
5. Concerned applicant/s will follow up status of application with the Registrar’s Office after the Night School Coordinator’s interview.
