GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY: “Lay up treasure in heaven” Matthew 6:19-23
REFLECTION: What do you treasure and seek after the most? What do you value above all else?
PRAYER: “Lord Jesus, you have the words of everlasting life. May the light of your truth free me from the error of sin and deception. Take my heart and fill it with your love that I may desire you alone as my Treasure and my All.”
Happy birthday to Ms. Yolanda Murillo who is celebrating her birthday today, June 22, and advanced happy birthday to Ms. Miffy Rose Reyes and Ms. Laarni Bermejo who will be celebrating their birthdays on June 23 and June 25 respectively. More power and God bless!

WASTE MANAGEMENT REMINDERS:
SJSLS has been doing its best to be true to what we claim as good stewards of God’s creation. Several environmental policies are in place to help us remain faithful to our commitment. This school year, let us challenge ourselves to walk our talk and do our very best to care for our only planet.
A) BRING ALONG YOUR OWN TUMBLER (BAYOT) – bring your own tumbler and use it to purchase drinks at the canteen
B) BRING ALONG YOUR OWN UTENSILS (BAYOU) – No utensils must be brought out of canteen premises. For take-out, don’t use plastic. Instead, bring your own utensils
C)DISPOSABLE CUPS/CONTAINERS/UTENSILS – These are not recycled but are disposed as residual wastes. These are banned on campus. Offices/departments must write a letter addressed to the School Director (noted by EMSAO) to ask for approval to use these materials on certain occasions.
D) NO PLASTIC FRIDAY – Plastic bags are banned on Fridays
E) ECO PET – Have an EcoPET in your bag. This will serve as our personal trash bin
F) REMOVAL OF TRASH BINS – To give more time for our students to get used to the EcoPET
as trash bin, 2 sets of complete trash bins (red, blue, green) will be provided in each grade level only for the 1ST QUARTER. For the 2nd QUARTER, only 1 complete set will be provided in each grade level.
Trash bins will be gradually removed from the different areas so let us train ourselves to use the EcoPET as our personal trash bins.
G) TRASH COLLECTION AT DIFFERENT OFFICES – When trash bins were removed from the Buildings last school year, Mr. Ludivico Española (Manong Boy) collected trash from the different offices. Please label your bins appropriately. No segregation, no collection.
