Today is the Feast Day of St. Maria Goretti

GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY“I desire mercy – not sacrifice”                                        Matthew 9:9-13

REFLECTION: What is God’s call on your life?

PRAYER: “Lord Jesus, our Savior, let us now come to you: Our hearts are cold; Lord, warm them with your selfless love. Our hearts are sinful; cleanse them with your precious blood. Our hearts are weak; strengthen them with your joyous Spirit. Our hearts are empty; fill them with your divine presence. Lord Jesus, our hearts are yours; possess them always and only for yourself.” (Prayer of Augustine, 354-430)

  • In the conduct of various EMSAO programs and activities, we are in need of transport services for the students and employees to various locations. For several years VILJODRAS has been providing us with such service.

As we aim to provide substantial experience to the participants, we must also ensure their safety in the span of their travel going to the designated place and going back to the school premises. In doing so, the following are suggested:

  1. The class adviser (or adult facilitator) will assign passengers to the vehicles. Determine which students  are entitled to receive transport assistance
  1. Let passengers sign in the passengers’ list prior to departure
  2. Count the number of passengers prior to the departure. Ensure adequate supervision while passengers  are loading and unloading
  1. Require parental permit for students’ drop off arrangement
  2. Provide route changes and/or new pick-up and drop off addresses to the driver of the vehicle
  3. Coordinate with parents to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities in relation to the picking up and    dropping off students
  1. Manage students’ behavior while on the vehicle

For school year 2018-2019, the following vehicles have complete documents and are recommended for hire:

1)    FFC984 – valid until May 1, 2019
2)    FVZ185 – valid until July 27, 2019
3)    FWJ532 – valid until March 1, 2019

For those who would like to avail of VILJODRAS’ transport service, you may get the contact number from Mr. Bernardo Delfin Jr.

Thank you very much!
