GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY: “Whoever hears the word and understands it”    Matthew 13:18-23

REFLECTION: How good are you at listening, especially for the word of God?

PRAYER:“Lord Jesus, help me to guard the word you have planted in my heart that no doubt or temptation may keep me from believing and obeying you. May I be fruitful in your service and may I never fear to speak of you to others and to share with them the good news of the Gospel.”

To All Students, Faculty & Staff

The Mission Collection on August 1, 2018 will be intended for our support to the initiative of the De La Salle Philippines (DLSP) of raising funds for the reconstruction of the Chapel of     St. John Baptist de La Salle in the municipality of Pasil.

Sometime in 2005, a group of Lasallians stumbled upon a humble chapel named in honor of St. John Baptist de La Salle amid rice fields in the mountains of Kalinga province.  The chapel is located within the indigenous Kalinga community of around 10,000 residents – who are all baptized Catholics – in Barangay Magsilay in the municipality of Pasil… (Note:  The rest of the story about this Chapel will be read by the Homeroom Advisers.)

We look forward to the generosity of everyone as we positively respond to this initiative so we can celebrate the Founder’s tercentenary beyond our own borders.

Thank you very much.
