(Shakey’s V-Leauge, February 2005). Maureen
Penetrante (SJHS ‘00) led the DLSU Volleybelles
in snatching the women’s volleyball crown from UST
in the Shakey’s Pizza sponsored tournament. Her blocking
prowess and spiking power, aided by her teammates, proved
too much for the UST players that bowed out after three straight
sets in the Final Game.

(USLS Sept. 11, 2004). Vivien
Lopez (Senior) won 2nd Runner Up in the first-ever Ambassaddress
of La Salle competition held at the St. La Salle Coliseum
in USLS. She was judged as the Best in Nation's Parade Costume
and Darling of the Crowd in a contest where she was the
lone high school student competing against fifteen (15)
college students from USLS.

are six positions for freshmen governors in USLS-Bacolod
(since there are six colleges in this University) for school
year 2004-2005. Five of these positions are now filled by
SJHS Batch 2004 graduates namely, Klyme, Kayzie, Jomeo and
Glenn.

a College Preparatory Institution. In the past two years,
SJHS has been awarded by USLS-Bacolod as the high school
with the most number of alumni studying in La Salle-Bacolod
who belong to the prestigious Dean's List. Early 2004, the
