Attention: Varsity and Aspirant Athletes who will be representing SJS-LS to the NOPSSCEA Sports Competition on September 15, 2018 to November 28, 2018 are advised to follow the scheduled athletes’ medical examination to avoid congestion in our school clinic. Facts about Respiratory System

  • About half a liter of water per day is lost through breathing.
  • Yawning brings more oxygen to the lungs.
  • A person at rest usually breathes between 12 and 15 times a minute.
  • Students are reminded to refrain from staying under the Acacia Tree to avoid contact with caterpillars (Iras).
