From the Health Services Office

  • July is Health and Nutrition Month.

“Nutrition is the only remedy that can bring full recovery and can be used with any treatment. Remember, food is our best medicine!” – Bernard Jensen

Healthy Tips for Students:

  • Eat breakfast before going to school. By eating breakfast every morning, you are able to be more focused and productive in class.
  • Get enough sleep each night. Most teenagers need eight to 10 hours of sleep each night. Getting proper sleep helps you grow strong, stay healthy, and feel your best.
  • Choose water as your drink instead of soda. Do you know that a can of soda contains 10 teaspoons of sugar? Regularly drinking soda has been linked to health problems and obesity. There’s no sugar in water, it’s also a calorie-free beverage.

To the Day School & Night School Students:  Come and join the PLW (Play, Learn, Win).  Visit the Infirmary every Monday, Wednesday & Friday after dismissal in the afternoon. Exciting prizes await you.

  • The Grade 7 Medical and Dental Examination is ongoing. Random Blood Sugar Test is now available. Have your blood sugar checked 2 hours after meal.
