On Wednesday November 22, 2017 the Whole Catholic Church in the Philippines and throughout the world will have the RED WEDNESDAY activity in honor of the 90,000 persecuted Christians who fearlessly died for the faith. In line with this, we will be participating in the activity through:

  • Wearing RED SHIRT to symbolize the blood of the persecuted Christians

(We are allowed to wear presentable jeans)

  • Discussion and para-liturgy designed by the CLE Teachers

(CLE classes should prepare the red peace cranes)

  • Offering of RED Peace cranes at the altar situated at the facade of the OJH Civic Center
  • Chosen LAMIVO Volunteers will be joining the March and Mass for the persecuted Christians at the San Sebastian’s Cathedral from 4:30 to 7:30 PM

LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION 2017

SJS-LS T.H. Valderrama Library joins the annual celebration of National Book Week in cooperation with the CAE Department with the theme, “Libraries Take Action: Providing Access and Opportunity for All” this November 20-24, 2017.

Objectives:

  • To promote the importance of library in our society
  • To uphold the care and awareness when using the library materials;
  • To strengthen the campaign for Recreational Reading Program; and
  • To reinforce the English Department program of activities.

Activities:

  • Picture Me Perfect Photography Contest
