Today is the Feast Day of St. Matthew
GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY: “I desire mercy – not sacrifice” Matthew 9:9-13
REFLECTION: What is God’s call on your life?
PRAYER:“Lord Jesus, our Savior, let us now come to you: Our hearts are cold; Lord, warm them with your selfless love. Our hearts are sinful; cleanse them with your precious blood. Our hearts are weak; strengthen them with your joyous Spirit. Our hearts are empty; fill them with your divine presence. Lord Jesus, our hearts are yours; possess them always and only for yourself.” (Prayer of Augustine, 354-430)

ENVIRONMENT WEEK 2018 (September 17-21, 2018)
This year’s theme “Beat Plastic Pollution” calls us to come together to combat one of the great environmental challenges of our time. It invites us to consider how we can make changes in our everyday lives to reduce the heavy burden of plastic pollution. While plastic has many valuable uses, we have become over reliant on single-use or disposable plastic. This celebration will engage us all to help raise awareness and inspire action to beat plastic pollution for good.
